Get to Know Your Anti-Rabies Coverage

Here are important things to know about your anti-rabies vaccine:

• Your initial anti-rabies vaccine dose is covered at any accredited provider, depending on your account benefits.
• If you need to visit the ER on your succeeding doses, we’ll cover the vaccine cost. Administrative fee shall be shouldered by the member.
• Prefer a clinic setting? Perfect. You may visit any MediCard free-standing clinic or any Animal Bite Center to have your succeeding doses of anti-rabies vaccine covered.

It is ok to have different brand of vaccine for your succeeding doses. Restarting Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) course is not necessary.
